English Open Classic Competition
(Logs up to 4ft diameter)

Chainsaw only or full power to produce a large outstanding competition piece.

Carvings can be presented finished by use of any power or hand tools, paints, oils and varnishes, using only timber supplied for the carving and no other fittings.

Duration 25hrs Saturday 8am – Monday 1pm

 

English Open Combo Competition
(Logs up to 2.5ft diameter)

Class A) Chainsaw Only Event

Duration 10hrs: Saturday 8am – 6pm

Carvings to be presented finished by the use of a chainsaw only, using only the main timber supplied for the carving, no other fittings.

Followed by

Class B) Full Power Event

Duration 15hrs: Sunday 8am – Monday 1pm

Carvings can be presented finished by use of any power or hand tools, paints, oils and varnishes, using only timber supplied for the carving and no other fittings.

 

All carvings will be auctioned off on Monday afternoon from 1pm
